Kenya Markets Trust (KMT) was a Kenyan organization funded by DFID and the Gatsby Foundation that workedwith the private and public sectors to catalyze large systemic change. MSA was contracted to assess to what extent systemic change had been created in three systems: water, agricultural inputs, and livest ock.

MSA conducted a project assessing systemic change in the water sector, using a mix of data analysis and on-site interviews. The resulting report, valued at $100,440, not only identified areas of change for Kenya Market Trust (KMT), but also became a valuable resource for the wider development community. The findings sparked interest, leading to new interventions and potential funding opportunities for KMT, showcasing MSA's dedication to actionable insights and impact in complex sectors.
