The SPRING Accelerator was a partnership between USAID, DFID, and the Nike Foundation designed to accelerate economic empowerment for girls in parts of Africa and Asia. SPRING supported early-stage enterprises developing products and services that enable girls to safely learn, earn, and save.
MSA performed a comprehensive evaluation of private sector enterprises in Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya for the SPRING program. This involved reviewing the program's structure, interviewing businesses and SPRING staff, and comparing it with other business accelerators. MSA also assessed the impact measurement tools, providing recommendations for program design and results measurement systems, which ensured a thorough understanding of the program's impact on girls.
