The Women-Inclusive Return on Investment (WI-ROI) Case Study Series demonstrates on-the-ground impact from the WI-ROI Framework, as it closely follows two small and medium-sized (SMEs) that are implementing women-inclusive initiatives and showcasing measurable financial returns. The second case study spotlights Okeba, a Ugandan agribusiness, and their successful implementation of providing an onsite childcare room, including supervision, which helped create a more women-inclusive workplace while delivering financial returns.

Additionally, the process unveiled lessons for calculating WI-ROI, including—thinking beyond increased output, the ideal time to calculate opportunity costs, and the benefits of granular data and business intuition when implementing WI-ROI initiatives.
